Thaaaaank you sooo much for your comments. I am very content to see that three of you are in 1st ESO and one of you in 2nd when the bonus question is actually for Batxillerat students. Yes, Adriana, it is a fragment of The Rime (or rhyme) of the Ancient Mariner written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Below there's a picture of a monument to the Ancient Mariner in Somerset (England).
Even though the poem is highly complicated, I am glad to see that you have read it. Thanks Emma, you are quite right in your interpretation.

Jonathan I think that is Samuel Taylor Coleridge was an English poet, Romantic, literary critic and philosopher. He born in 21 October 1772 and he dies in the 25 July 1834.
Wow very clever of you! he was, in fact, one of the major representatives of Romanticism alongside Wordsworth, Keats and Shelley. Very good Jonathan, you have a positive!
